Terms of Service

We kindly ask that you have a good understanding of our policies prior to making a purchase. By making a purchase with us, it is assumed that you have thoroughly read, understood and agreed to all sections of this page. Failure to read our policies does not negate you from them!  If you do need clarification on something specific or come across a question that is not addressed here and cannot be found on our FAQ page (coming soon), please do not hesitate to contact us. 


We are a private reptile breeding facility located in Illinois and do not have a public storefront. Therefore, we do not offer in person pick ups or deliveries other than the expos we are vendors at. 

Shipping Information

We do not blindly ship orders! We will never ship without scheduling and confirming a date with you beforehand!  


An additional $55 shipping charge will be added on to your order at checkout. This shipping charge is for customers within the Contiguous United States only and will cover an unlimited amount of geckos so long as they are in the same shipment. Please triple check to make sure you entered in your shipping address correctly at checkout. Very important! If you do see the shipping address on your invoice was typed in incorrectly, please contact us immediately.  


We ship Priority Overnight via Fedex. Our shipping days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays for arrival the following day. We do ship on Mondays for Tuesday arrival sporadically at the customer's request, but due to that typically being Fedex's busiest day, arrival Wednesdays and Thursdays are strongly preferred to avoid possible delays. 


We do not ship Thurdays and Fridays, the week of major holidays, or in extreme weather conditions. It is at our discretion on what temperatures and weather conditions we deem safe to ship. Because we work within the constraints of having a perfect track record with live arrival, we will not be pushed into shipping your order any sooner than we feel comfortable, and there will be no buyer's remorse for being impatient. 


We offer both home delivery and pickup at your closest FedEx Ship Center (preferred). Typically a home delivery is possible if temperatures are above freexing and below 90F. If temperatures are either too low or too high, a hub pickup may be required by us. 


Please make sure that someone is home on the day we set up for your package to be delivered. Your package must be received on the first delivery attempt (or picked up on the arrival day if being shipped to a hub) for live arrival to be guaranteed. 

Delays

Even though we ship Priority Overnight, multiple day delays have become increasingly more common. We cover for Fedex delays and still guarantee live arrival if they are delivered late. A lot of thought goes into each and every gecko we package up, and package each order with a potential delay in mind.  Even though most shipments are delivered on time, we package them as if they will certainly be delayed. We have a perfect tracking record with live arrival, and intend to keep it that way!

Payment

We accept most common forms of payment including PayPal, Zelle, all major credit cards via Square, personal and cashier’s checks, and money orders. All orders must be paid in full and cleared prior to shipping. No exceptions.  All payments are FINAL and NON REFUNDABLE.  Payments can be transferred to another gecko if you would like to make a change to your order no less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled ship date.  

Payment Plans

If you are needing a payment plan to purchase, please checkout as you normally would through our store page. On the payment section at checkout, choose 'Payment Plan Option', this option will place selected geckos on hold and you will be sent an invoice for a non refundable deposit within 24 hours of completing your purchase. This invoice must be paid within 24 hours of the invoice being sent, otherwise geckos on your order will be put back up for sale. 


We offer several payment plans that are structured differently depending on the price of your order total. 


  • Under $300 | 15 day payment plan with a 50% down payment
  • Up to $1,500 | 30 day payment plan with a 25% down payment
  • Over $1,500 | 60 day payment plan with a 25% down payment


At any given point during the year, we are dealing with several thousand reptiles at our facility and assisting several dozen customers, because of this, we do not have the time or resources to keep track of every customer on a payment plan to play debt collector.  It is your responsibility to keep an open line of communication with us and to complete your payment plan on the agreed upon date. If you are late on your payment plan with no communication made, I will consider your payment plan abandoned, your geckos will be put back up for sale, your deposit will be forfeited, and no further transactions will be made with us through a payment plan. We are very understanding to most situations so long as there is an open line of communication. See below for more information on abandoned orders and store credit. 


Due to time restraints, we are unable to take additional photos of geckos during your payment plan.

Holds

No gecko will be considered on hold without an initial deposit. This means that first payment = first served. We do not offer temporary holds. 


We can hold your order for up to 30 days after payment has been fully made. We will also hold your order for an unlimited amount of time due to weather, holiday traffic, or for any other factor that we deem not safe to ship. Holding your order for longer than the duration of your payment plan DOES NOT NEGATE you from completing your payment plan on the agreed upon due date. We have all the patience in the world when it comes to holding geckos to guarantee safe arrival to their new homes. When it comes to having patience with customers late on their payment plans - not so much!  

Guarantees

IMPORTANT. Before reading what we do and do not guarantee, please read our guidelines that must be followed down to the last letter for our guarantees to apply. Failure to read these guidlines does not make them go away and applies to all customers! Thank you! 


1. You must be at least 18 years of age or have a guardian make the purchase for you.

2. You must give them a proper minimum 30 day quarantine/adjustment period. This means that...

  • Geckos are housed individually within those 30 days. Please do not put your new gecko in a preexisting gecko's enclosure. This causes nothing but stress for all geckos involved. 
  • Geckos are not to be bred within those 30 days. A number of factors can have adverse effects on a gecko if being bred in a new environment they are not fully acclimated to yet, especially females. 

3. You must not resell/flip the geckos

  • Our guarantees apply for the original customer making the purchase. As soon as a gecko is exchanged to another customer outside of our control, any and all guarantees void on our end. 

4. Proper care must be given

  • If there is any sort of health related issue or untimely death, we will ask for a detailed description of care being given including food being offered, heating and lighting methods, etc. 

5. Someone must be home to receive the package. 

6. You contact us within 2 hours of your package arriving

  • This is to ensure proof that someone was home to receive the package and was not sitting outside for any length of time
  • If your package was held at your local Fedex hub for pickup, contact must be made within 2 hours of the picked up stamp time on tracking as well as being picked up the same day it arrives at the hub

Live Arrival and 30 Day Health

Live arrival even in the event of a shipping delay is guaranteed. All available geckos are guaranteed to be thriving, completely healthy, and have a normal appetite while in our care. We offer a 30 day health guarantee. 

Photo Integrity

The photos we use to advertise our geckos are guaranteed to be unedited and left in their original form from our camera directly to our website. We use the assistance of natural lighting with no flash to get the most accurate representation of our gecko's colors and patterns. Indoor lighting can dull a gecko's color to some degree, so it is recommended to view your gecko in direct sunlight to see their 'true' colors.  

Sex

Geckos labeled as male or female are 100% guaranteed to be that sex. If a gecko is labeled as a 'probable' or 'possible' male or female it is our best guess based on current appearance, incubation temperature, and size of the gecko. Probables and possibles are NOT guaranteed. 


In the event a gecko appears to be incorrectly sexed, please notify us immediately. Photo and/or video proof may be requested. An incorrectly sexed gecko will either be replaced with a similar gecko of the correct sex or store credit will be issued. 

Genetics and Lineage

All geckos available for purchase are guaranteed to be exactly as their listed morph, carrying (or not carrying) any hets, and have accurate information on their lineage. We keep strict records on every gecko that comes in and goes out of our facility. Geckos listed as 100% from the original line are guaranteed to come directly from that specific line and have no other lines crossed into them unless otherwise specified. With genes that can often times have a subtle appearance (ie. Snows, White and Yellows) you may see them listed as 'possible' or 'probable.' What this means is we are not entirely confident labeling them as that specific morph and feel more confident labeling their likelihood of them being that specific morph.  Any gecko labeled as a 'possible' or 'probable' is our educated guess, and therefore not guaranteed.  

Dropped Tails

Please be aware that Leopard Geckos can and will drop their tails if they are under stress or feel threatened. We have shipped thousands of geckos across the world and of those thousands, a gecko has dropped its tail once while in transit. So although this is an extremely rare occurrence, it is not unheard of that they drop their tails while in transit to their new homes. Because this is not in our control, we do not cover for dropped tails. In the unlikely event that this does occur and you need help with precautions to take while your gecko is regenerating its new tail, we will be happy to assist.
